An in-person consult at DeSoto City Park in DeSoto, IL, must be completed before training. Consult is $50. Price goes to the balance of your program if you sign up within 7 days of the consult.
Private Lesson Program
The Good Dog
Typical price range is $200-1,100. Price may vary.
This program is fully customized to meet your dog’s unique needs! We can address any behavior issue you can imagine, from jumping and leash walking to bolting out doors, not responding to calls, stealing food off the counter, and even behavior challenges related to fear, anxiety, or aggression.
In this program, we’ll teach you how to effectively train and communicate with your dog. We’ll guide you through each step of the process and be there to answer any questions you have along the way. Each lesson lasts one hour and is typically scheduled on a weekly basis. Since the program is tailored to your specific needs, the total length will vary based on the issues we’re addressing and their severity.
This program is custom to your dog's needs, but examples of behaviors that could be taught include:
potty training, crate training, loose leash walk, not stealing food, respecting children, human/dog aggression, resource guarding, heel, sit, down, place, come, drop, name recognition, door manners, not jumping, fear, anxiety, aggression, etc.
3, 6 or 9 lessons
3 lessons may include 2-3 commands/behaviors, 6 lessons may include 4-6 commands/behaviors and 9 lessons may include 6-8 commands/behaviors and may cover off leash, Ecollar or behavior issues
Training collar will be included
Lessons may be done at De Soto City Park or at your home
Board And Train Programs
Have you been interested in sending your dog to training, but don’t want to be away from them for weeks at a time? Our programs are Monday-Friday so you get to bring them home on the weekends!
The Polite Pooch 10 Day Board and Train
Price starts at $1,750
Are you often wondering why your dog is kind of…. crazy? Do they pull on the leash, jump on all your guests or bolt out any open door? This is an excellent choice for those who want a good dog around the house and want to enjoy walking their dog again.
Your dog will stay with us Monday-Friday and be home with you Friday-Sunday. Each Friday we will have a lesson to go over your dog’s progress and show you what to do over the weekend.
After 10 days, your dog will have a great foundation of good behavior. 2 Private Lessons are included after your dog goes home to work out any kinks that may come up. One Refresher Lesson is also included. This lesson can be used at any point in your dog’s life to refresh their training.

Lessons on Fridays
Dog comes home on the weekend

The Courteous Canine
Price starts at $3,450
Do you have a hyper dog who doesn’t listen or has the attention span of a goldfish? Do you wish you could take them in public without getting frustrated? Do you want to be able to take them to ball games, pet friendly stores, wineries/breweries, hiking, etc? This is for you!
Your dog will stay with us Monday-Friday and be home with you Friday-Sunday. Each Friday we will have a lesson to go over your dog’s progress and show you what to do over the weekend.
After this program, you will have the confidence that your dog will listen to you even in busy and distracting areas. You will no longer be embarrassed by your dog’s behavior.

Loose leash walk, heel, no jumping, door manners, leave it, go to the crate, sit, down, name recognition and place. As well as respecting the space of people and how to behave in public

The Ideal Companion
Price starts at $4,250
Are you wanting a dog who you can do anything with? Ball games, wineries/breweries, restaurant patios, fair or anything dog friendly? On and off leash? If you’re anything like me, you want to be able to take your dog off leash hiking or to the lake to swim. Minor behavior issues like mild fear, anxiety or aggression may be covered in this program.
Your dog will stay with us Monday-Friday and be home with you Friday-Sunday. Each Friday we will have a lesson to go over your dog’s progress and show you what to do over the weekend.
This program will give you the Ideal Companion you’ve always wanted! A true go anywhere and do anything dog with the highest level of obedience and reliability. Who doesn’t want that?

25 day board and train (on and off leash)
Loose leash walk, heel, no jumping, door manners, leave it, go to the crate, sit, down, name recognition, place and off leash obedience (come, sit, down, place). As well as respecting the space of people and how to behave in public

Diamond in the Ruff
Price is dependent on the issues and severity.
Do you have a dog that lunges towards, barks, growls, or tries to bite other dogs or people? Have you stopped walking your dog because you’re too nervous about taking them outside? Maybe you only walk them at night to avoid their triggers? If you’re struggling with behavior issues, this program is for you!
This program modifies your dog’s problem behaviors and emotions while teaching practical obedience. This program is for dogs with fear, aggression, anxiety, or other large/serious issues. A 25 day minimum stay and is case by case for additional length.
Your dog will stay with us Monday-Friday and be home with you Friday-Sunday. Each Friday we will have a lesson to go over your dog’s progress and show you what to do over the weekend. *This is dependent on severity of their behavior.* They may stay with us for the first weekend or 2, but we will still do weekly lessons.
Program Includes
25+ day board and train
While the focus will be on modifying behavior other things that may be taught are loose leash walk, heel no jumping, door manners, drop it, leave it, go to the crate, sit, down, name recognition, place and come. Plus being more comfortable in public.
